UQ Gatton 120th Anniversary Long Lunch

The UQ Gatton Campus 120th Anniversary Lunch will be held on Thursday, July 27 in a marquee at the top of the Central Walkway. Celebrity Chef Alastair McLeod will be hosting the event and providing some valuable tips on how to cook wagyu perfectly!

The lunch will commence at 11.30 for 12 noon and will include a three-course menu featuring local produce:



  • Emmos Fine Foods Goat Cheese & Leek Tart w/ Gecko Grove Pumpkin Chutney and Ghost Gully Watercress salad drizzled with Brieschke's Olive Oil


  • Stanbroke 5 score Wagyu Eye Fillet, Bauer’s Organic Dutch Cream Potato dauphinoise, Mulgowie Farm Green Beans w/ Mushroom jus


Seatonfire Chilli Chocolate Asiat

  • Seatonfire Wild Chilli Chocolate Tart
  • Seatonfire Wild Rosemary & Sea Salt Chocolate & Hazelnut Brownie
  • Seatonfire Wild Orange Chocolate Mousse

Each table will also include two bottles of red and two bottles of white to share and the staff club will be open after lunch for those who would like a more extended catch up with old friends.
